CONSUMPTION OF SOCIETY

There are great consumption and abundance formed by the proliferation of goods and services in the environment we live in. The reason is primarily an indication that our society is a production and consumption society.

Consumer goods can be luxury goods that we do not need or our desires. The place of consumption is in daily life. We produce all goods and services together with consuming them in daily life. Consumption society is not only characterized by the rapid growth of individual expenditures. Consumed products should also bring happiness to people. Happiness must be measurable and pleasurable to all to achieve equality. Happiness also brings prosperity. So well-being and need to complement each other. People’s needs are determined by the value of the use of the goods. Whatever amount of goods produced in society, there was no abundance or scarcity. Everyone met their needs as they wanted.

Societies produce differentiation and growth has increased with social differentiation. Generally, money is not always decisive in societies. As the necessary goods increase, the imbalance and equality do not decrease, they just shift. The consumption process is divided into two as meaning and communication process. There is a structure of differentiation in the social process. Societies that differ in this structure establish a new order for themselves and thus have to adapt and get used to this order.

If a product does not meet the needs and does not exceed the previous product with a higher feature, that product loses its value in terms of society. Likewise, brand value is also important for the product. Therefore, more meaningful and catchy names should be chosen when choosing a brand name for products. The most important feature of the product for people is that it meets the needs and gives happiness.

CONSUMER GOODS AND THE FUTURE

People should prioritize choice to satisfy objects to meet their needs, and remember that the slightest indecision will lead to misery. Human needs are interdependent and rational. Choices are not made randomly and the goods to be used must have a meaning. The behavior of the individual must adapt to society and respond to the producer’s needs in society’s attitude. While companies produce goods or services, they also use all the tools they have available to impose goods or services to people. Demand is very important for businesses. It is the power of demand that meets the needs of individuals as a whole. The world of objects and needs becomes a paradigm as a whole. It ensures that consumption needs are regulated and people feel safe and integrated. All consumption ideology takes people to a new era.

The abundance of consumption depends on demand and production. If production is abundant and there is no demand, consumption will not occur. Producers should promote their products to the communities through advertising to increase consumption. Since consumption is a powerful element of social control, it creates an obligation to force the consumption process. The unlimited spread of individual consumption harms social responsibility and morality. Individual consumption does not bring people together and makes a difference. Since the needs and risks of each individual are different, goods and services are reviewed, reproduced, and linked to a model.

Thus, all artificiality and contradiction would be abandoned. In the last process, natural products were tried to be obtained by logic. The social and economic position is based on indicators. In this case, it is important to realize that it is based on differences, not objects or goods.
